How can I safely remove paint from indoor bricks in the kitchen?

Removing paint from bricks is difficult at best. Because of the crevices, you probably won't get every bit of the paint off.

Mineral spirits is really the only way to get it off. You'll need to make sure you have ventilation running to keep the fumes down, and use a respirator (about $30.00) so you don't breathe in the fumes. Use a wire brush, and brush the mineral spirits on the bricks. How can I safely remove paint from indoor bricks in the kitchen?
try dabbing on a little gasoline on a rag and rub gently over and over....try squirting some WD-40 on the spot and rub gently over and over.....last thing try same thing with a little turpentine. How can I safely remove paint from indoor bricks in the kitchen?
safely well put on protective clothing and then get some paint stripper and a wire brush..

always brush away from you so your not spattered with paint stripper. remember wear protective clothing and goggles. then wash off the residue and give the idiot that painted it a good slap for making you work so hard !
