How do you delicately remove paint from bricks? Particularly, an indoor brick fireplace.?

Soda basting is the best way. The down side, it is VERY messy. For your indoor fireplace you can build a small room out of plastic drop cloths and blue or green painters tape. Tape the edge of the plastic to the wall, floor to ceiling, on each side of the fireplace and cut 2x2's to hold the plastic to the ceiling out away from the fireplace if your texture won't accept tape (popcorn texture). Turn off heat or A/C so you move dust all through the house. How do you delicately remove paint from bricks? Particularly, an indoor brick fireplace.?
Find someone who can do soda blasting (NOT sandblasting), it should remove the paint without damaging the surface underneath. How do you delicately remove paint from bricks? Particularly, an indoor brick fireplace.?
You could do it the old fashoned way. use paint stripper and a wire wheel or brush, but it would take you forever. soda blast is the way to go, but hold on to your wallet, unless you can rent one someplace. Sand blasting is also another option, but its messy as well.
