If I paint a plastic table with indoor paint & then paint over it with a paint made for plastic will it stay?

-The table has a ';high-density polyethylene top';:

-I've tried painting one spot with just the wall paint and it wiped away with water. The paint I'm thinking of putting on top of the wall paint is a spray paint: http://www.krylon.com/products/fusion_for_plastic_textured_shimmer/If I paint a plastic table with indoor paint %26amp; then paint over it with a paint made for plastic will it stay?
You'll need to use just the paint made especially for painting on plastic. Interior latex paint just won't stick to plastic, sorry. If I paint a plastic table with indoor paint %26amp; then paint over it with a paint made for plastic will it stay?
Use Krylon for plastic available at most dept stores and home centers. That's it on the web site you posted.

Latex paint WILL NOT adhere to plastic or oil based painted surfaces.
You def. need to paint the surface with the plastic paint as it bonds differently than the house paint will, I know they don't always come in the colors you are looking for but try it in white, then the color you want
Latex wall paint won't stay on plastic, as you've already found out.

The paint for plastic should work. Make sure your table is clean and dry. Follow the instructions on the can.
try doing it the other way around use the plastic made spray paint then the wall paint it should stick
why not use the paint made for plastic? I did on my stuff and it worked.
