Home painters, how non-toxic really is indoor paint, please read: ?

My 1 yr old grand daughter has RSV, a respiratory illness, and daddy is painting the inside of the house and we live in Oregon, too cold to open all the windows. I am wondering if this is bad for baby. They say they are using low toxic indoor paints, but with the baby having RSV, I want to know just how much toxicity these paints are adding to the air that might be causing the baby to not get better faster ???Home painters, how non-toxic really is indoor paint, please read: ?
Sorry to hear about your grand daughters illness.I dont know about RSV, but I do know that Central heating will cycle the offgassing quickly, keep the home extra well heated and they can close off and open windows into the babys room then heat it up before bedtime. Really paint is not toxic like it used to be its latex based and very benign. She really is better off with fresh paint, less chances of mold and other allergens. Have Mom check with the pediatrician for advice. But in terms of paint fumes, relax.Home painters, how non-toxic really is indoor paint, please read: ?
Even non-toxic paint is a very strong odor and should be taken away!

Especially when you have a baby that has RSV. So for now... no you should not be redoing anything.:)

I pray for you and your precious child.
why not use a water based paint?
