Do you need to use a multi surface primer to paint indoor laminated doors, or can you just use emulsion?

Do NOT use emulsion. Use proper oil based paint. Use an undercoat and two top coats. Rub down the surface lightly after the first top coat and then paint. Use a good quality brush. If you use ';One Coat'; paint still use an undercoat and 2 top coats as only an experience painter can get away with the one coat. Only use primer if the laminate is bare timber but again rub down the door before application.
